US Navy Master Diver insignia crest

A large antique US Navy Master Diver insignia. The plaque shows a Morse Mk V/ Siebe Gorman type "hard hat" diving helmet, surrounded by sea serpents and crowned with Poseidon's trident. This crest was reputedly on display at HMS VERNON until it closed in 1996. Made from cast brass with painted detail. Height 35cm / 13.5"

A presentation lighter in the form of a Siebe Gorman hard hat diving helmet. Made from brass with a wooden base with lighter mechanism under base.
